New version needs a FullContact or Google+ account. Support says they didnt want to depend on other services to control syncing between multiple devices. Hard to believe considering multiple apps flawlessly syncing via iCloud. From the privacy point of view, the new version is a shame. Not recommended!

I cant understand this type of business decision. They built a customer base, built a good app with kind of brand name. They throw this away with the idea of $$$ with 99

Notes are a lot more readable than the original Contacts. Thats what I was looking for. Great app.

Love it. Much better than Apple Contacts. I will purchase the desktop version so that everything syncs the way Apple stuff should.

What iPhone contacts should have been. Not radically different. Just different enough to make me never use the built in contacts at all.

Contact management and social media are becoming increasingly entangled as people self-publish personal data on the web. Cobook intelligently coordinates your contact book (organized the way you like it) with data pulled from social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn--organized the way your contacts like it). There are other apps that do this, but Cobook wisely places your contact book (thereby preserving _your_ preferences) at the center of things instead of just aggregating all everything willy-nilly. Cobook is still improving, but even now its the best contact management app in the store. Ive tried most of the extant contact apps, and Cobook is not only the best available, its got the brightest future. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Since cobook becomes fullcontact and requires an account I need to delete it. No chance to store contacts on foreign servers. So pitty :-(((

Please Bring back direct opening in google maps! Please... And please bring back the option to call or message, facetime or copy without needinf the hold the finger there

Cobook is a great app. Strange name, but it works really well. Building a platform that does more than really expensive CRM solutions. Will gladly pay for a full featured app that replaces the contacts app, which is pretty weak.

Im loving the new design. :) However, when I delete a contact it creates a new contact called "no name".

Makes managing contacts on my Mac & iPhone simple. Love the integration with social networks and synchronization across devices. A must have!
