Cobook is to Contacts what Fantastical is to Calendaring

Cobook is to Contacts what Fantastical is to Calendaring. Im not sure I can say it any better. This is an excellent app. Its my go to app on both the Mac and iPhone. I love the new, clean look of the iPhones v3.0.1. Very nice. Very easy to navigate around in. I have zero reason to use the standard Contacts app and dont want to as this is so good.

Perfect

The update is awesome. Love the minimalist design. Great contact integration.

Best way to destroy a brilliant app...

...acquire it, wrap it apart and force customers to the (paid!) cloud. Then rename it and update often so the first wrath of unhappy users is blurred. Congratulations!

Best contacts app if it wasnt so buggy!

Great app but its got a long ways to go, especially since its dealing with something as important as contacts. I paid for the upgrade and this is version 3 already. Some of these bugs feel very "1st-time app developer" to me. I hope I can come back and add stars once these are worked out, b/c its otherwise the best contacts app ever!! Its like the developers can read my mind for what I want a contact app to do and look like. You can open someones Facebook profile from the app, or click on their twitter or view their instagram feed. You can also input relationships b/w people and then slide between their profiles. That kind of stuff is amazingly smooth and easy to use! But contacts are majorly important and bugs are a real deal-breaker. Some of the issues: - It wont let you delete contacts - they turn into entries called No Name. - It also doesnt sync very well. So contacts that have a photo from Facebook show up as no photo when you do a search for no photo contacts. It also deletes photos Ive uploaded through the app every time it syncs with my iPhone contacts, which makes me wonder how safe the rest of my info is. And its really bad at labels for phone numbers and things. If I list a number as a mobile, or give it a custom name, half the time it just randomly changes it to home, and then wont let me change it back. - It has a lot of problems with syncing social media contacts - sometimes it lets you add them to the iPhone contacts, but sometimes they disappear. Some peoples Facebook profiles always show up blank too (maybe thats because of their privacy settings, though). Some suggestions (nothing to do with my star rating, which is b/c of the bugs): - It would be great if the app would let you email from within the app, instead of always opening the mail app, since I use mailbox and gmail, and every time I accidentally open the mail app, it takes forever to update. Lots of apps let you send emails within the app, so this should be pretty doable. - Finally, it would be amazing to have an app that actually lets you see your last few text messages with someone, your FB messages, Twitter interactions, etc. Though that might slow it down too much. Id also add some Skype integration, google chat (or hangouts or whatever theyre calling it now), and linked in (I know youve been trying on that one). Then I could use cobook to click around to all the other apps I contact people in. I think Apple wouldnt let some of that level of integration happen, but it would be amazing if it magically did!!

Excellent!

This is what a contacts app is all about: clean, efficient, a pleasure to use. Well done keep up the good work.

Please tell me what onboarding is

Are you trying to sell your customers for complete dummies? What is an onboarding experience? Webster never heard the word either.

Great App!!

Beautiful and functional. Only thing its missing is a way to view the previously viewed calls. Then it can earn the spot replacing my default dialer and contact app.

Fabulous

A very powerful app yet super simple. Many of the features in this app should already be in the phone app.

Great App!

Would be nice if all social platforms would be open to work with FullContact - but thats not the fault of FullContact but the platforms...

Well designed.

This app is simply beautiful. Its a smart contact book. Keeps all the infos of your contacts in one place. Keep up the good work.

Dose what it says.

Sync easily with iCloud, easy to use.

Awesome app

Much better than the default contact manager!

Updates

Messed up my contacts and cant find people on Instagram.

worthwhile

makes surprisingly better use of iOS than the standard Contacts app. spend time learning the features and youll find it to be both robust and versatile. though not a fan of in-app purchases or constantly seeing the badge so -1 star for this. fortunately an opt in. overall: solid features, helpful, worth it.

Stunning!

Where did this app come from? Such an amazing contacts app! I would gladly support them and get the essentials pack with Instagram contacts. Great app!

$$$

This seems like a promising app, and Im all for in-app purchases, but $9 to connect my LinkedIn contacts is ridiculous. Seriously, $9?! Once the prices become more reasonable, I might take another look at this.

Best contacts app ever

No account needed for start up. Extremely easy to use with brilliant design. Has functions i was looking for and more. 10/10

Great app, great service!

App works great. Also, the two times Ive had issues Ive either emailed them or left a review regarding the issue and the problem was fixed with little delay. :)

Everything the apple contact app should be!

This app is great. It has everything that the Apple contact app should have. The integrations with Facebook, Twitter and other social apps work as expected. I dont have waste time figuring out why those apps dont work properly with the iOS Contacts app. I just hope the next version from FullContact doesnt break anything.

I miss CoBook

My CoBook got updated on my iPhone automatically. FullContacts seems to have not adopted some functionality that CoBook provided In CoBook I could add remove all the tags/groups for all my address books easily. iCloud gmail Facebook. Now I have to us the full contacts grouping. Previously I could seemlessly add missing contacts to other accounts...now I cant. I even went to the extent to turning off my auto updates so I can continue using the older version of cobooks unfortunately only on my iPad...
